Has anyone here gotten the FullMetal Alchemist DVD?

I just began watching this on Cartoon Network last fall, and now I'm absolutely obsessed with it. (it's the first anime I've ever watched and stuck with..)

There's one set (Episodes 1 through 4) on Amazon that comes with a tin box, and then there's a more plain set.. trying to pick..

1. Been watching on CN

The problem of course is most of our anime watching is of the big gulp variety. A complete season at a time or 4-5 episodes in one go. This once a week thing is killing us.

And yes. Its very good. Have you watched the subtitled version yet? Any comments on how the English voice characterization is in the dubbed compared to the original?

2. I haven't seen the subbed version yet.

I watch a lot of television, despite my busy schedule. I just Tivo it all and catch-up on the weekends. This show is probably the fastest twenty-two minutes of my entire week; I spend all week thinking about it, and then I blink and it's over..

I'll probably get the boxed set. When I do, I'll review it here.

3. I have the four DVDs that are out now

And the entire series fansubbed. The dub voices are okay, although I definatly prefer the subs better. (I've met Havoc's english VA, though. He's really nice)

4. Just finished watching the 1-51 series and it is

great. We have subs and the emotion in the original Japanese language is better. Definitely anti-war, anti-greed. I recommend it.

5. Haven't but its on my list of to get

Got hooked on Full Metal myself, that and Samurai Champloo I can't do without now. Looking to get DVDs for both.
