I like One Piece! Yes I know, the story where people get super powers from eating special fruit. But what can I say, how can you hate a story that goes so far over the top?

Rubberman pirates, islands floating in clouds, sea gates large enough to change ocean currents, cola powered cyborgs...what more could you ask for from an anime?:bounce:

2. High drama....

and low comedy all in one place, just remember that it starts slow and builds from there. Stay away from the 4 Kids version, they did a bad dub.

Esp if you've read ahead in the manga and know whats coming up in about 15 anime eps...

The voice acting in Japan is amazing, wherein the us it sucks ass!

I have heard good things about the Funimation pick-up, but have not bought a DVD set yet... too scared LOL

she'll probably join the crew for a time i think, if only to escape where she's at.
I admit, I'm really interested in seeing how that micro story line will end tho I know they won't show it =<[br />Maybe after this arc, Oda will go back to the other staw hat crew members, but I doubt it (reading how in the manga they were really breezed by)
