:hi:
It's been a long time, but now I've got a reason to be posting in here again. I just started "officially" dating my best friend, who has a deeper understanding of race issues than any white person I've ever met. She's smart and hilarious and understands me on a spiritual level. It's weird, because even my ex said we "shine" together (he was more than a little jealous of her when I was still with him, and I can see why). My only regret is that I never told her how I felt about her, sooner.
Her family is awesome and wonderfully supporting, no "Black People Love Us!" moments. I was invited to Thanksgiving dinner. Of course being a lesbian couple we are discussing moving her in with me and getting cats. :rofl:
So I guess this is my silly way of saying I'm in lurrrrve. :loveya:
