According to beliefnet.com, the religious left is just as large as the religious right. We could prove it by persistently reminding Pat, Jerry, Dobson, or some of the other major figures on the radical religious right that they do not speak for us. Constantly calling their shows to argue with them, sending them loads of letters letting them know just what we think of them, and so forth. Keep the pressure on them, and let the rest of the country know that we are here, and we are not to be trifled with. It worked for the unions in their fight with Schwarzeneggar. It would also answer the persistent calls to "take back the faith" and give heart to every person of faith who does not stand with the hate-mongers. What do you think?
