I just took on a job as co-editor of our church's monthly newsletter.
While most of its content will be news of coming events in the parish, from time to time I'd
like to put in short articles on happenings in the wider church. I have in mind things like MAJOR
but neglected news developments related to religion, upcoming TV specials, new research findings on Christian history, etc. It's an Episcopal church so most of the focus will be on ECUSA happenings, but not exclusively.

Just looking for sites I could check from time to time. Will appreciate all suggestions.

2. I like hanging out at the Washington National Catherdral site. They've taken down some

of the older archived lectures, but still lots of interesting current Lectures and Sunday forum videos on all sorts of issues.

8. Could you include info on liberal Christian actions?

For instance, could you mention the upcoming Mobilization to End Poverty planned for D.C. the last weekend in April, an action created by a coalition of Christian organizations, if you did not advocate attendence? If you feel you are able to include a mention of the largest liberal Christian actions, either physical gatherings or online petitions, while the reader can still participate, rather than simply reporting on them after the fact, you may want to check in on the websites of the Sojourners, Street Prophets, and Catholics United to stay abreast of these sorts of things.

I do understand that doing so might mean having also to list the largest of the reactionary Christian actions, when church members request it. On the other hand, listing both sorts of large, Christian-sponsored actions might make the church newsletter more interesting and widely read.
