My Father-In-Law Just Went Into The Hospital. Asking For Healing Thoughts And Prayers

Mr. Dinger called me this morning. He works as a welder/assembler (glad he has a job yet). I knew it was something important if it was during work. He said his dad (who is 80 & in pretty good shape actually) had "sky-high" blood pressure, and had lost his vision. That's all he knew. It sounds like a stroke to me. Also, he has severe migranes which sometimes affect his vision, so maybe it could be that. I am praying for his healing and full recovery, however likely (or not) that is. I appreciate all healing thoughts and prayers from my beloved DUers.:scared: :cry:

Has he had high blood pressure before?

BP can also soar from extreme pain. But I guess you'll just have to see what the Drs. conclude. Anyhow, here's hoping with you and your husband that he pulls through OK.

2. Hubby Just Got Home

Dad-in-law will be fine. He had bumped his head earlier in the week, and didn't tell anyone. Then he had a migrane. They did a CT scan and there was nothing there. He's going home this after noon. Thank God, and thank you.:)

It does sound like a stroke, but I've known several people who've recovered from strokes. So, keep a good thought. :hug: for you and your family!
