1. I started that thread...

...because it was interesting news and also because I'm tired of the constant whine "why don't liberal Christians ever do anything about wresting their faith away from the 'fundies'?"

If liberal voices are being quashed in the media, how much more are liberal Christian voices ignored?

Since we're being shunned by the MSM, we need get the good news (and, quite possibly the Good News) out where and whenever we can.

I'm developing contacts in most of the mainline Protestant churches' media offices, so I hope to have the "scoop" more often in the future.
