This came in my "UCRS Daily Affirmations" and I liked it:
"God and I are one; in everything I do, my divine atmosphere goes before me, making straight and perfect my way. I enjoy clear thinking, clear knowing, and I understand that my own inner power impresses the infinite Mind as I think. My life unfolds beautifully, all things falling into place, just as they should."
I like the idea of "the Infinite Mind ." That's how I imagine "God," as both an energy and an Infinite Mind. My hubby jokingly calls "It" "the Unimind ."
I like the idea, from "Conversations with God," by Walshe, that this Infinite Energy was bored and divided itself up. Each one of us is a "segment" if you will, and our job is "to experience," with Spirit not being judgmental. So, we have to analyze "sin" or "a messup" as a mistake, straying from the path towards our goal.
What do you think? Is the Power within You?

That daily affirmation describes my understanding of "God" perfectly, and makes a great morning meditation.

and I loved what you wrote. Pir-o-Murshid Hazrat Inayat Khan said that we are like a drop of water from the ocean, rising up with the wave; we are the ocean, the ocean is us. This is my analogy of the Infinite Mind.
