Hi--looking for help in choosing a vocal solo for a 14 year old girl.

She is considering War Child by the Cranberries, so you can tell she wants something rather hip. She is socially and politically aware and wants to express that within the limits of school. 1. I feel lousy that I can't think of anything.

I listen to so much stuff, a lot of which is both socially and politically aware, but nothing anyone could get away in school (The Dead Kennedy's "Soup Is Good Food" or "Stars and Stripes Of Corruption" isn't gonna help any child win points in school). And add to that you need something to reflect the girl's talent and intelligence....I'm lost. I suck at both.
