| I'm trying to find the name of a rock guitar instrumental. |
|
All I can say about it is that it reminds me of theme music from a western movie. Slow beat.
I've heard it on the radio lots of times, and cannot for the life of me say I've ever heard the name.
Can anyone out there help?

70s, 80s, grunge, alternative? Is it all instrumental or does it have some lyrics? I plugged rock instrumental top 100 into Google and came up with these from the 70s. http://www.tower.com/rock-instrumental-classics-vol-3-70s-various-artists-cd/wapi/106727735There's a link for you to listen to each of them.

| 2. Thanks for your reply. I don't have an idea what era it might have been recorded in |

I'd say I heard it the first time sometime in the late 80s early 90s. I check the link you sent. Thank you for searching. None of them were a match. I tried all the related links too and still couldn't find it. When I do, I'll let you know! And thanks again for your assistance.

was thinking, Ghost Riders, instrumental version, or Apache, both of which I was listening to in recent weeks, and yesterday, Apache. I like the Ventures version better, I guess, as it was a little slower. I loved the way they used Apache in that Profumo scandal movie a few years ago. But they used a slow version. Shadows did a fast version. There were a 1000 other instrumentals in those days as well. Ventures had many. Don't forget Mike Curb, and the music for the biker movie. Op didn't give much of a clue. dc
