This is something going around facebook and I thought you folks here in the MA group might find it entertaining, too.
Once you've been tagged... (1) Turn on your MP3 player or music player on your computer. (2) Go to SHUFFLE songs mode. (3) Write down the first 25 songs that come up--song title and artist--NO editing/cheating, please. (4) Choose 25 people to be tagged. It is generally considered to be in good taste to tag the person who tagged you.
If I tagged you, it's because I'm betting that your musical selection is entertaining, or at least amusing. (Ed: Actually, it's just a goofy way to reach out and say hi ... Don't over-think it. :)
To do this, go to "NOTES" under tabs on your profile page, paste these instructions in the body of the note, enter your 25 Shuffle Songs, Tag 25 people (under the post) then click Publish.
So here's my list:
1. Ginnie - Fairport Convention 2. The Scientist - Coldplay 3. Sail Away - The Rasmus 4. Circa Mea Pectora - Orff: Carmina Burana 5. Kathy's Song - Eva Cassidy 6. Step Into Christmas - Elton John 7. I do love that song, though.
Beautifully constructed and executed.

I loved virtually all genres of music, disco and cheesy 70s pop included. :D
Elvis Costello has talked favourably about how ABBA wrote their music. If it's good enough for him...

| 16. Never ashamed, but often embarassed. |
|
Even at 49, I still run with a mostly metal crowd. By "often embarassed" I mean that whenever anyone picks up my iPod, there it is, first song on the list.
I takes my lumps, but I likes my 70's cheesy pop.

|
...and he said about Patsy Cline, "Once she sang a song, it was sung."
I think he's right.
