Went to see Mahler's 4th Symphony tonight - NC Symphony in Raleigh...
rather remarkable piece of music, amazingly well done (right up there with some of the recordings I have by renowned conductors and orchestras).

So in my quest to see Mahler's complete cycle, I can now check off 2, 4, 5, 6 (twice), and 9. Some tough, rarely performed (locally, anyway) ones remain, esp. 3, 7 and 8......

any other Mahler fans here (in this rather quiet forum)?
