Damn, those guys are so good. I've been a fan ever since first having my mind blown by TNT when it came out. Tortoise, if you're not familiar, are a different sort of animal all together, blending Rock, Jazz, and Dub in ways never before heard or previously conceived of. Vastly misunderstood and sorely underrated. It can take some considerable effort to really get what they're doing and you might have to fully absorb all of their works to fully get them, but damned if they aren't worth the challenge. To these ears anyway. I recommend.
