| First bird of the year determines how the year will be. |

My first bird was a varied thrush. They migrate through during spring and fall, and we have a flock year round now. They are very camafloged, somewhat skittish but seem adapatable to woodland dwelling. http://www.birds.cornell.edu/AllAboutBirds/BirdGuide/Varied_Thrush.htmlhttp://birdweb.org/birdweb/bird_details.aspx?id=355 What was yours?
