Added another bird to my Ohio list

Royal Tern - number 316!

It's getting harder for my to add new state birds these days - down to a few non-review list species like Little Gull, Sabine's Gull, Connecticut Warbler, etc. So when this bird showed up in town, I was on the road immediately to see it!

It will be only the second state record for the species - probably a weather-related stray from the big storms that blew through recently.

I am looking forward to taking some trips this spring and summer to see some new birds. It was a very long winter. Hopefully action in this forum will pick up a little bit.
