1. I just saw a bald eagle today in Greenbelt, MD

near the intersection of Greenbelt Rd and Lanham-Severn. It was a huge mature adult...a magnificent spectacle!

Oddly enough, I was on my way to the Wild Bird Center to get suet and seed!

2. I still remember the first one I saw

Mukilteo Washington, almost 18 years ago.

We were near the water and we heard it (huge wings) before we saw it, it was flying so low. Spectacular sight to see.

I feel lucky to live where I can see them on a fairly regular basis.

Glad you saw one Goddess! "Magnificent spectacle"...that says it all!
