Okay people, let's get started. I propose that we start a little challenge for ourselves. We list each day how we did the previous day regarding eating and fitness.
To make this less daunting, I say we eat two good meals a day and exercise at least two-three times per week.
We do this til the end of January and see how things went. Anyone interested.

why not just add "eating" to the daily check-in threads? Or were you talking about each individual having their own "report-in" thread. That would be kind of fun too!

| 2. eating as a daily check in thread would be good |
|
that way we could all be accountable for our bad eating choices. two good meals a day would be great. i am starting january 2 myself.

| 5. Not everyone can live on the 2 meal plan |
|
my post-bypass diet requires me to eat 3 small meals and 3 healthy snacks.
I like the idea of checking in w/ our eating, but I don't think it's wise that we all live according to the same diet. Different people have different needs, according to their athletic performance, medical needs, etc.

I'm finding that some of my pants aren't fitting anymore. I'm too cheap to buy more so I'll just diet and exercise like a maniac.

| 6. small change is most sustainable |

no need to do anything "like a maniac". Small changes in diet--especially if you're going to add a lot of exercise. You may find that your body NEEDS more calories if you're adding a lot of activity. Just remember to get those calories from healthy foods.
