Monday, 1/9: I worked out today--did you?
:hi: Good Morning!

This morning I ran my "quick" mile, and then went to the cardio equipment room and did 15 minutes on the indoor rowing machine.

I then went into the weight room and did my standard upper-body workout and 1/2 of my ab work out.

My diet has been pretty good over the weekend. Well, better on Saturday than on Sunday. I have lost 3 lbs. in the last week, so I'm happy.

How are you all doing?

1. I'll be hopping on the elliptical in a little bit
but I did want to chime in that I lost just over three pounds this week. I was hoping for more since it was my first week on Weight Watchers and back to regular exercise but I'll have to be satisfied. I didn't feel the least bit deprived and I enjoyed the exercise.

I ordered the extended edition of The Return of the King. When I finish the LOTR trilogy, I think I'll watch it again with commentary. I also ordered the first season of Lost. I've never watched it but so many people rave about it. Maybe I'll get into Desperate Housewives next! (As if I don't already watch enough television!)

Congrats on the three pounds! That's a lot this far into the game!

2. I swam a mile this morning!
I had really gotten lazy in November and December so it was a sloppy mile. I'm working on endurance and form together and hope by the end of the month to be swimming the way I want to.

7. Ran instead of KB
Ran 1.25 on the treadmill. Figured the KB was too much with tomorrow being the heavy deadlift day.

11. Yes, I worked out!! Yahooo!!
back at the gym today for the first time since Dec. 5th. Ugh. Long story, but the good news is, I'm back in the swing of things, despite having lost all my earlier strength. I have to start all over again.

:woohoo:

Slowly, but surely....
