| Now that's just not fair... |
|
Since picking up running again a few weeks ago (modestly, see my post in this thread: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=295&topic_id=8032&mesg_id=8054) I've managed to...wait for it...GAIN 3 lbs! I thought it was supposed to work the other way. I am keeping tight control of my diet too. Sigh.

| 2. That's true, but you don't gain much muscle jogging |
|
OP: How are your cloths fitting? Do you look any different in the mirror?
I'd advise getting your body composition measured for a more accurate indicator as weight is pretty ambiguous indicator.

| 5. I've got a Tanita scale |
|
I'm just going to keep plugging away, watching the ole diet, and will use the Tanita scale to check bodyfat as well as weight.
I kept pretty active over the weekend, and will be moving 3000 lbs of sand from a driveway to a new sandbox this Friday, so I took it easy running this week since I am still in recovery from plantar fascitis.
thanks for the pep talk everyone! :-)
