| Running again after ten years away- equipment ? |
|
Are running socks (the kind you wear inside shoes) worth it? I have cotton half socks I am running in now but they are cold so if I am gonna get out there in sub zero temps I need something to wear on my feet. I would also take any advice on inexpensive clothes too? I spent all I can spend on good shoes so my budget is limited. At this point I am thinking goodwill hoodies and that for upper body but wondered if I should spring for the socks. thanks all

| 1. Yes spring for good socks. It will cut down on blisters and other foot problems. |

Cotton isn't a good running sock they slip. I would go for a professional running sock from Dicks or one of the other sporting goods stores.

I got enough clothes this weekend at goodwill. I am headed for the running store for professional socks with the $ I saved.
