Ireland kick English Ass

or should that be arse? Hah! Hah!, anyway.

Yesterday was the big showdown between Irish and English rugby with victory going to a resolute Ireland. The final score was Ireland 19 England 13. The English are whining about being "robbed": Sore losers I say.

Of the other two matches this weekend...

Italy 10 - Scotland 18: Victory for the Scots came at the price of their dignity. This was the worst match of rugby I have ever watched in my life.

France ( 18 ) Wales ( 23 ) - Now, this was one of the best rugby matches I have ever seen. France led at half time ( they were fantastic ) and it looked like the Welsh would be leaving France with the bitter taste of defeat in their mouths. Not so: I do not know what their coach said to them at half time but it certainly worked!

After three games ( and two to go ) Ireland top the league; they have the same number of points as Wales but currently have a better points average.

The French will be a Landsdowne in two weeks time.
