anyone using feedburner or other service to deliver blog updates to subscribers?

anyone using feedburner or other service to deliver blog updates to subscribers?
I have a blog with about 150 people subscribing to receive updates by email.

Currently I am using feedburner to deliver the updates - the format looks good
but the delivery is unreliable.

I can have my blog ready at 8 PM, it should go out at the next delivery time from 9-11 PM
but sometimes it just doesn't go out.

I need to figure out what to do with feedburner or else find another service.
