Who reads ICT?
Indian Country Today has cultivated and maintained a loyal and active readership by adapting and growing with its readers. For over 22 years readers have relied on Indian Country Today, week after week, for in-depth news and information they cannot get elsewhere.

Because of Indian Country Today's unique cross-Tribal content and national perspective, it has become the strategic connection point for disparate Native communities, as well as non-Native people/organizations that need true insight into Indian country issues on a national level. This has created a readership that is equally split between individuals and businesses/institutions-highlighting Indian Country Today's market strength with decision makers.

Institutional readers include: Tribal leaders, Indian and non-Indian business leaders, schools, libraries, non-profit, health, community and political organizations. Individual readers--both Native American and non-Indian--come from all career fields, including: medical and legal professionals, teachers, technicians, students, counselors, financial consultants, accountants, engineers, entertainment executives, actors, singers, environmentalists, social workers, bankers, governors, senators and even presidents of the United States.

Further, recent third-party readership studies have shown that our readers are very loyal, attribute high value to all parts of the publication (including advertisements), and report high levels of satisfaction. These same studies have also confirmed our high pass-along rate: Readers share Indian Country Today with an average of 3.5 other people.
