I have to go to the hospital on Wednesday for a cardaic angiogram. I had a stress test last Wednesday and they found something, so hopefully they doc will be able to put in a stent and not open me up again. I'm not looking forward to open heart surgery again, once was quite enough. I really got some shitty genes from my family. So say a prayer or whatever on Wednesday for me. I'll need em.

72. We had some good HC news today!

the Hubster had to go to the ER at the end of June for abdominal pain. Got a CT scan, etc. Last week we got an almost-$3500 bill. I called the hospital today to try to work out a payment plan. When the person in the payment office looked up the account, she informed me that the hospital had reviewed our paperwork and had applier a 100% discount to our bill, so we did not owe them anything.

AND, it's not your usually layer cake. Rather, the layers are very thin, and they are wrapped around in a circle, almost like a pastry.

It was very good!

And all the flowers are made from rolled fondant.
