Woe is me, KKKarl is not indicted (yet). Ok, enough teeth gnashing for now. I'm getting popcorn for the next installment of 'Republicans Eat Their Own'. Even if Karl didn't flip, I'm sure Darth Cheney will think he did and it's Lord of the Flies (Rove is Piggy of course) from here on in.
Oopsy, double post, my computer is stuttering again.

Did you get my message on your cell the other day? I called you to discuss after I saw the movie.

| 2. No I didn't. I have been chained to the desk in my studio, never even |

charged my cell phone. I really only use it when I'm in the car and usually not even then. So what did you think of the movie???

Run, Al, run. I just thought it would be nice to talk. Now I have to convince my folks to see it -- my dad compared Gore to Michael Moore and said the scientists disagree with him and think it will take thousands of year for anything bad to happen. I told him he watches too much Fox News. I guess I'll have to work on my mother -- I may have better luck.

Show me the letter Goldbars!!!! I'm sure the wording of it would be a lot less flattering than your spin. I wish I could be with you in the Clubhouse tonight but alas, I have to teach. Won't be here till Friday.

is that it happened right after that status conference where Fitz told Walton that he didn't anticipate any difficulty obtaining WH cooperation in the matter of witnessnesses/documents. Hmm...
And the beauty of that? Even if Karl isn't stabbing Libby in the back, Libby's going to think he is. And there's Libby, coming out on the short end of motion after motion. Somehow I don't think he's too happy about being the only one left without a chair after the music stops. The beginning of the trial, once so comfortably far off, is now only six months away, and who's going to testify in his favor? Judy? Not likely. Cheney? Only if it saves his own neck. It might be a Good Thing if Libby saw a lot of Smug, Smiling Karl in the headlines in the near future, don't you think? It might make him wonder, not for the first time, if that pardon is really going to happen. After all, Scooter hasn't been part of the team for some time now. He's a liability, not an asset, and the President's numbers aren't so strong that he can afford the back-blow that issuing a pardon might generate...
The minute Libby feels that keeping quiet is no longer going to enhance his life expectancy or chances of getting a pardon, he'll rat out everyone in sight, and that will be the time to make up an extra-large batch of popcorn.

I'm waiting to see if this actually makes it to trial. How many defense strategeries have we been through with already with Team Irving?
And: "Somehow I don't think he's too happy about being the only one left without a chair after the music stops."
