| So we had our congregation Pesach Sedar tonight |
|
Nothing much to report, but it was an experience to go to a Sedar with a cantor and prayer leader. Our congregation (reform) rents out a local restaurant, has them prepare traditional foods, drink Manachevitz (if unlike me you don't order a separate glass of drinkable wine) and go through the Sedar.
As we are fairly involved in interfaith activities, we also had a fair number of guests from various religions -- I had a few interesting conversations about our history, etc.
Good Pesach to everyone!

Do you mind me asking what part of the country you're in? Do you do this every year?

North Mississippi. The communal Sedar has been part of our services since at least the 60's. Sometimes its done in the shul, but more often its done at a local restaurant, country club, etc.
