A homemade explosive device exploded Sunday night outside a synagogue in the Russian city of Saratov. Russian news agencies reported that there were no injuries in the incident.
"No one was hurt, but a window was shattered as a result of the explosion," a local police source told the Interfax and RIA-Novosti news agencies. He added that the blast was caused by a homemade explosive device which was placed on one of the synagogue's windowsills.
Interfax reported that Jewish organizations in Russia expressed their concern over the incident.
