If the Senate is going to vote on Saturday about the Health Reform Bill, will Lieberman be there? Does he attend meetings that take place on the Sabbath?

I don't know if he attends meetings on the Sabbath or not. I know that the Orthodox make exceptions for certain things, I guess he could count this as one of those exceptions. Of course, if he weren't there and it still failed, heads here will explode.

Being shomer Shabbos and shomer kashrut seem to be very important to him and ritual law seem to be easy for him to follow. However, he seems to have problems with Torah when it commands Jews to heal the sick. You see, he will block a vote for health care even when universal health care is a mitzvah.
