1. I remember when I "realized" exactly what the numbers on my great-uncle's

arm meant. When I was younger, I saw him as an old man at holiday dinners who spoke broken english and had weird writing on his arm. I was around 10 or 11 when if finally got it. I cried. And from then, until he died, instead of avoiding great-uncle Henri, I sought him out to talk with.
