I got a migraine for Christ mas

It doesn't really shock me. I worked my butt off to make the holiday nice for everyone. That is my job. I am the mom, after all. And it was after everything was beautiful and we were all sitting around the tree opening gifts that it hit me - hard. I tried everything in my power to stop it or handle it, but ended up in the ER. It was just one of those horrendously vomity horrible ones.

So after they gave me some IV pain meds and I was feeling much better the doctor asked if there was anything else. There was this little matter of a sore (very sore) ankle I'd been walking on for the past two weeks. They did an xray and found it was fractured. I kind of knew that already but had been putting off finding out.

So that was round one of the holidays. Tomorrow we fly back east for round 2. Wish me luck.

Those darn migraines seem to know JUST when you don't need them to take hold... and then they do!
