Does love live? Does love die?
Is love real? Or just a lie?
Is love born of you and me?
Or is it an illusion, a fantasy?
Is love something that one can hold?
Where will love go when I grow old?
Is love just a feeling? A temporary caring?
A melting, quivering, a quiet despairing?
What is the feeling of one for another?
What binds the hearts of child and mother?
Do we learn to love as we learn to hate?
And when one learns is it then too late?
End.
Why did I write this so long ago?
I do not know.
It is a mystery.
