had a loss

dear friend who fought addiction for 30 yrs. Died yesterday in fire..passed out with cig...the horror is he walked out of burning building...we were hoping he was out of it and didn't feel a thing...fire marshall tells us otherwise.

He made my husband's wedding ring 31 yrs ago...only ring he made in his life...we love him so much...put him through many rehabs..paid for methadone.. he finally seemed to be sober after a year in Salvation Army program. apologies for the vent.
