I met him early on in my AA career. I haven't seen him in quite a while since I moved out of state and he dropped out of AA. It is one of those but for the grace of God moments. I have written to him and hope he is able to respond. Addiction is such a bitch of a disease. This kid had so much going for him but he just couldn't get the monkey of his back.

I admit he probably did it and unlike most crimes involving drugs his probably should be a crime but he likely wouldn't have done it had he not been an addict. It is a truely sad situation.
