I love bran for adding fiber to my diet. Like I bake it into scones and cookies.
What I discovered recently is if I have something high carb, like non-whole wheat pasta or white rice, I add a couple of teaspoons of bran and it kind of makes up for all that starch I've added -- has this ever been suggested or is the value limited?

you eat there are 7 calories that you don't absorb. So it is helpful, also filling. :)
