3. It will be fine

I just had the Lap-band put on on Friday, and with the combination of the liquid diet before and after i have lost 18lbs already. My doctor told me that the first 75lbs are on him, the rest is up to me. I know that it seems to be difficult to choke down one more glass of Carnation Instant Breakfast or whatever they will put you on, but I know that it will be worth it. Good luck

4. Just listening to the post-op patients in my Dr's office helped

there were three ladies there who were 1 week post-op...they all looked great,and said the pain wasn't bad...each has already lost 10+ pounds.I'm glad there are other DUers who understand...it helps.Thanks for responding
