| Friday, 6/10: Today's menu |
|
Breakfast:
1/2 a cranberry scone 1 cup sliced fresh fruit 16 oz of diet snapple peach tea
Lunch: the cafeteria has listed a "beef w/ blue cheese" as their specialty salad for the day--I think I'll try that.
Dinner: To be honest--I'm clueless about what to do for dinner. My kids will be working, so it's just me. I have a ton of stuff to accomplish for the evening, so I really don't want to spend much time cooking for myself. Maybe I'll get a cup of chili from Wendy's, or make an omelet.
For my snacks I'm going to drink protein drinks.

| 1. UPDATE: Good day on Friday |

I didn't have the "beef w/ blue cheese salad" because it didn't exist. I did have a salad, and I was a stickler for the WLS patient rules about not drinking w/ my meal.
For dinner I had a lean cuisine.

It sounds like your planning ahead is working for you! Would you explain what 'WLS patient rules' are, and why you are not supposed to drink with your meal? Is this related to your surgery?
Have you tried the new 'Spa Cuisine' Lean Cuisines? I just love them! My two new favorites are Lemongrass chicken, and Chicken & Pasta with Peanut sauce (it has veggies like sugar snap peas and carrots in it too). They are just delicious! I also tried an asian Chicken with Almonds flavor that I hadn't tried before, but it wasn't in the Spa Cuisine series. I have a Lean Cuisine and an apple every day for lunch. Other favorites are Chicken Enchiladas Suiza and Glazed Chicken. Yummy!
