of the 19th and 20th centuries,....sure paved the way for us with a heavy price. Women Without Superstition "No Gods - No Masters" edited by Annie Laurie Gaylor is a great reference. I noticed that the Second Sex was on the top ten most dangerous books mentioned by the Freepers. I also loved When God was a Woman. Alas, long given away...sigh...I love Sonia Johnson, the Morman woman who was excommunicated from the Church for exposing their role in trashing the Equal Right's Ammendment. Love, Margaret Sanger, founder of planned parenthood. Do you have any special referencs or heroines?

Willing to put herself on the line to become "the most hated woman in America" to fight mandatory school prayer. Love her or hate her, she was a tremendous force in the battle to preserve separation of church and state.

Her kidnapping and death is still not known by many. I recently had someone tell me she stole millions and moved to Mexico--the usual misinformation the media likes to put out.
