It was SOOO painful to see Dixon go down last night. When he went down and the TV said his father was called down to be with him, I turned off the TV, went upstairs and told my wife the season was over and we lost the game. She said how can the game be over, I said the heart of the team just went down for the year. If he comes back, they may be able to get into a BCS bowl, but I doubt he will be back. Its another Holiday Bowl for the Ducks. It was a nice run though. That offense with Dixon at the helm was incredible. They were fun to watch. But too many injuries took them out. Leaf tried, but he was hurt too, and the loss of our blockign back and best wideout hurt Leaf's game style. He can;t run the spread option. He needs blocking and fast receivers,a nd the Ducks lost their best blocker and speed receiver earlier in the year. Oh well, ti was cool to have my favorite team be No. 2.

Even as a loyal OSU student, seeing Dixon go down made me cringe.

That was an incredible game. I tip my hat to the Beavers. We had our offense running correctly and you took everything we could throw at you. Of course had Dixon been around, this would have ended differently, but I have to give the Beavers credit for a season mostly won on heart and a few very good young players. The Beavers are goping to be good next season, very good. I hope the same can be said of the Ducks.
