Lewis Hamilton is enjoying the late summer sunshine despite returning to work at McLaren's Technology Centre in Woking. The 26-year-old writes on Twitter: "Spending time working with the team on the car and in the simulator preparing for Japan. Hope you're all enjoying the sun!!"

McLaren insiders are becoming increasingly concerned about Hamilton's mindset and approach following his clash with Ferrari's Felipe Massa at the Singapore Grand Prix. (Autosport magazine)
Massa claims that his well publicised altercation with Hamilton in the TV pen in Singapore was a result of the Englishman ignoring him immediately after the race. "After the race, I tried to talk to him because it was the right time," Massa said. "I called him and he went straight past and didn't even look at me. I called him twice and he ignored me. Of course, I got really upset with this attitude - it's not right, not the professional way." (Autosport magazine)
Red Bull owner Dietrich Mateschitz has answered speculation that junior team Toro Rosso would be sold to an Abu Dhabi company this month by saying they are not for sale. But Mateschitz added that, "partnerships would not be ruled out, as long as the partner is the right one". Mateschitz also insists he has no plans to sell a stake in his championship-winning Red Bull team.
