Keanu is an idiot, but I still liked Matrix, and Constantine is in the similar vein of being enough non-cliche to actually being enjoyable. Here is a spoiler - Keanu is an antihero who is dieing from lung cancel because he smokes 3 packs a day, while he is battling demons from hell who want to take over the earth because god and satan made an equal bid for power at the dawn of time. He is also scheduled to go to hell because he committed suicide, was dead for a couple of minutes and went to hell, but was resurrected by paramedics, so he is guilty of unforgivable sin according to church of god. So now he is trying to earn his way back into heaven by killing demons, even though angels keep telling hem this is not how it really works.
