No imagination --you have to "imagine" what it must be like in someone else's shoes in order to be capable of empathy.

Thus they lack ability to think about what's best for the group. This task is a burden to them, they wish everyone could just look out for themselves, so they don't have to think about what's best for any given group.

They see criticism as being "against" someone, and this is why they are guilty of supreme overconfidence. They never criticize themselves, b/c they see this as being "against yourself"

of having a political society. It's just that this country is a madhouse with the worst lunatics and criminals running the asylum. (Indeed in this diseased society refusing to be "adaptable" to the current rules governing social behavior can be proof of individual virtue and mental health rather than a symptom of disorder) I see that there are societies that address the needs of the future common life with far more honesty and rationality than we do--a view from a distance, I admit.
