A Democrat defects on Alito

George W. Bush loves to trot out a Democrat -- or a dead Democrat or a pseudo-Democrat or a former Democrat or whatever -- whenever he can find one who seems to agrees with him. Remember how Bush kept bringing up Joe Lieberman on the subject of Iraq last month? How he invoked the names of Bill Clinton, John Breaux, Daniel Patrick Moynihan and even FDR as he pushed for the privatization of Social Security last year? How the Bush-Cheney campaign rolled out the ever-so-slightly unhinged Zell Miller again and again during the 2004 presidential race?

The junior senator from Nebraska has just become the first Democrat to say that he'll vote to confirm Samuel Alito to a seat on the Supreme Court. "I came to this decision after careful consideration of his impeccable judicial credentials, the American Bar Association’s strong recommendation and his pledge that he would not bring a political agenda to the court," Nelson said in a statement issued by his office.

6. Nelson was predictable

Given his past votes and his state he was predictable and no matter what the media says it doesn't reflect on what will happen with other Dems. He will be played up, but it is not yet a done deal. BTW, the ABA supported Alito.

3. i called his office first thing this morning..

now i have a very strong and powerful voice..the guy hung up on me..i then re-called Nelsons office, and the guy said don't yell..i said what audacity for him to say i was yelling.,i said if i yelled, he would surely know it..and that i have a very powerful voice and how dare he attempt to interpret my voice ...

then i told him that Alito's "corner man " was the "gate keeper" of the 9/11 commission ..for the white house ...and made the 9/11 commission a joke..a freaking joke of a white wash...

i also asked how does this civil service worker ( Alito) making $175,00.00 a year with a house valued and paid off $800,000+..and has over $2 million in investments..and his wife is a subsitute teacher/librarian...how is this possible??



i said Nelson should immediately remove the "D" from his name and replace it with an "R"..because as a flight attendant for one of the airlines involved in 9/11..i absolutely could spit at Nelson saying Alito is anything but an evil hitler whore!

I asked his staffer how he sleeps at night..or looks in the mirror each morning...

then i said .,.now do you want to hear me Yell??

because Nelson is making me scream in anger!
