I'm all for airport security, but I have to wonder how effective this latest scrutiny technique is going to be. If this guy were staring at me this hard, I'd probably look guilty just because I'd feel so uncomfortable, especially if I had no idea what was going on:



In a video segment on the NYT homepage, a reporter describes how two security guards swooped down on a guy because he touched his chin and looked down at the floor... it's unclear whether he turned out to be a terra-ist or not, but be warned... touching your chin and looking down is not a good thing these days in an airport.

I really have to admit, if I hadn't read that this is a new technique they're using, to try pick out dangerous people by their facial expressions, I'd be saying to myself, what in the world is going on? Do I have lipstick all over my face or something? On the other hand, he is pretty good-looking....

with all this brouhaha and psyops going on at airports, no wonder it sends people already on the edge right over, a la that Mayo woman on the flight to D.C.

I predict you will be seeing more of this, and probably with tragic results like that case in Florida where the guy got shot for being a terrorist, when he was just off his meds.

15. Hell, 99% of Americans are guilty of something, so a "guilty"

look means next to nothing. It is one thing tho pick out scared, teen-aged, suicide bombers by their facial expressions and "body language", it is quite something else to pick out a well trained, dedicated, adult operative.

Oh, and of course, we are all guilty of having allowed the Dictator to stay in power for as long as he has - we should feel guilty for that...maybe no American should be allowed on a plane...
