Why not run Gore again in '08?

1. I'd take Gore in a heart beat.

He has acquired a taste for justice, having been wronged by the government. His appreciation for what is right and good about this nations has only been cemented by the hate and evil fostered by the admin now.

I'd really rather the ticket be Gore/Boxer.

I don't know about '08, but I'm pretty sure he's stated that he would rather not run in any future elections. But that was before the '04 election. We need someone like him in office. Can we start a petition urging him to run in '08?

11. Wrong - Gore did win the 2000 election

I've seen numerous reports that show Gore actually did get more votes in Florida, therefore he should be our President now. As far as Kerry goes, chances are we may never really know because of all the corruption and hacking that occured in Ohio. But it's safe to say based on all the exit polling that Kerry probably should have won that one also.

I just wonder that if Gore did run and win, would the gophers then claim he couldn't run a 2nd time because he technically won in 2000?

Gore has said he will not run (he left the door open a tiny crack, but I don't have my hopes up too high). Secondly, I don't see Kerry willing to run as second banana. Gore and almost anyone (Boxer, Clark, Feingold, even Hillary) would be a great ticket. Almost anyone but Lieberman, that is.

since he is a different person since 2000 and having been out of politics for a good while he'd have a fresh start and everything. I think he would do a lot better this time around and more aggressive with his campaign and all that. I don't think he's running again. Of course not any democrat has come out and bluntly said he/she was running in 2008 yet so now it's all spectulation and wishing and hoping. I would like a Gore/Warner or Gore/Feingold or even a Gore/Kerry ticket. Any of those three I'd happily support.

I'll stick with my original post that that would be a very uninspiring/boring ticket. We need someone with a personality & those 2 put together don't even come close to a charismatic Bill Clinton. Maybe even someone that has a backbone would be nice. Don't even think about running a woman. Again, not that I wouldn't support it (Boxer, Clinton) type, but it just isn't going to get us the presidency. There's still too many men in this country stuck in a time warp, worried about her pushing the button during that time of the month. Scary....But true.

Anyone who thinks that the 1992 media and the 2000-2004 media were the same is out of their skull.

After 9-11, even Clinton couldn't convince the public that he was better on terror than Bush, and he had a book and a publicity tour to do so.
