| 9. Actually, sadly, he did vote for it |
|
I watched C-SPAN and here's the list: Carper, Johnson, Landrieu, Lautenberg, Lieberman, Menendez, Nelson (Fla.), Nelson (Neb.), Pryor, Rockefeller, Salazar and Stabenow.
Of course, a lot of Dems people regularly claim as being DINO voted no, such as Feinstein and Clinton, and I will call out anyone who tries to pretend that they voted aye. For the 12 actual aye votes, however, there can be no excuse.

In another thread some douche told me that the "entire Democratic party" was responsible for this torture bill. Not the Republicans, who wrote and pushed it, or the 12 collaborationist Dems who voted for it; no, the WHOLE PARTY.
And what's so stupid is that they can't see that this is EXACTLY why the Republicans pushed this bullshit bill to begin with - to pit Dem against Dem.

I stayed with most of the 5 or 6 threads on the Senate hearings today.
Are you sure you aren't slamming everyone for one or two peoples' opinions?
