| In the final analysis, it is up to the American people.... |
|
The people must decide at the polls what type of leader they want and what type of government they want. They don't always choose wisely. Sometimes they really f*ck up. But, they always get a second chance.
In the next election, the people must think long and hard about the future of the country and the type of country they want. Do they want George Bush's vision of America? Or do they think we need a change in direction?
We can talk about revolution. We can talk about boycotts and labor strikes. But, in the final analysis, it is up to the people to make the decision. We will live or die by their decisions. Whether it be for national healthcare or another overseas venture, we will reap the rewards or we will pay the piper. How much faith do you have in the wisdom of the people?

| 4. But what if these people are unaware |
|
of the real world around them? What if they believe all the blatant propaganda about war, terrorism, democrats, tax cut economics, etc. that are the rightwing talking points? What if they believe it because they have rightwing radio and a media that is supposedly ""liberal" that never informs them or challenges this world view? And what if they get democratic party candidates that do not challenge that view such as those the DLC always wants?

about what was to transpire, in a general way, in America, as far back as the impeachment trials of Clinton and yet, people still insisted on supporting him. This is from someone who lived in America for a short period of time and has not visited in years. So much information is available for research. Take a look at the Bush family as far back as Prescott Bush, take a look at Bush's tenure as Governor. Power and money is all with which this family is concerned. And so are the people who prop up this evil dynasty.
