Because you have someone on your list who prefers gifts that are not necessarily green or environmentally flawless or perfectly politically correct and yet somehow exude an air of slick positive alternative sexy goodness and somehow this makes it all OK.
Here, then, my world-famous, wonderfully sporadic, semi-annual non-intuitive completely biased guide to gifts for the juicy and the weird and the delightful and the damned. Warning: Contains references to iPods. And sex. Sometimes in the same item. Here we go:
First we got rid of the phone cord, and the world rejoiced. Then came cellular, not only removing the cord but also the need to have anything resembling a civil conversation in the privacy of your own bathroom. Unsatisfied, America's tech megacorps spent billions to invent Bluetooth so every gadget on earth can roam cord-free while quietly causing brain damage in lab mice. Wonders! ...
