Just to be clear, Holy Joe has advanced the idea that not only did Iraq attack us on 9/11, but Iran was also behind it. Even the most heinous Republicks have not make that leap yet. Thanks Joe, may you rot in hell.

4. Something else I heard about Lieberman

Can't confirm it, but I heard that HE IS BLOCKING ANY SENATORIAL INVESTIGATIONS of the whole Katrina fiaasco. This is unacceptable, if true. In other words, the Dems really don't have a majority in the Senate with Lieberman being a Repub in independent's clothing.

12. I had the same reaction when Lieberman said those things.

I vainly hoped that someone would point out that even Junior has admitted Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11, Iran was not nearly as hostile toward us until The Decider helped justify the sentiment with his threatening war rhetoric, and there was no al Qaeda presence there until neocons like Lieberman threw out the welcome mat for them. It's frustrating to see these same lies go unchallenged over and over in the presence of Democrats.

I have a friend that is head over heals republican. He has always believed that bush is the right man at the right time. Every day that goes by, he feels stronger about this.

His latest nonsense spew is that Europe is poised to fall to the IslamoFacists. He believes that our mission should be to wipe them off the face of the earth (i.e. all Muslims).

I can't discuss politics with this person. I didn't have the heart to tell him that there is no such thing as an IslamoFacist, and that this term was created purely to rile up hate for Muslims.

27. Lets be fair, Lieberman is talking about Al Qaeda.

Remember Zarqawi and the Golden Mosque? Al Qaeda is a powerful force in Iraq, and to some degree we are fighting the people who attacked us on 9/11. That doesn't mean they were there when we invaded, just that we managed to create a chaotic place they could operate in. Lieberman accepts the ideological reason for the war (that democracy can wipe out radical Islamic terrorism) and it's no surprise that he is making this argument.

I hope the McCain Lieberman thing was some terrible, terrible joke.
