And I use that word in the most right-wing least traditional connotation possible. A friend mentioned she stumbled upon some pretty hateful stuff about her when she was googling her user name so I wondered if I hit any fascist radar screens.

From their perspective I:

1. Am a pro-looting liberal because I sympathized with Hurricane Katrina victims helping themselves to milk and diapers in the aftermath of a natural disaster that left them homeless and destitute.

2. Must have been stoned in high school civics class because I noted that while Republicans hold a majority in the House, they actually do not represent a majority of Americans because of the population distribution in the districts. I thought that was pretty funny considering their particular thread was about liberals complaining about the Senate. Apparently our right-wing compatriots don't know the difference between the Senate and the House.

How absolutely flattering that some of them actually read what I write. 'Tis a pity they don't comprehend what it means however.

After a day spent mopping up after a 102 degree 5 year old that is very nice to hear. I'm sure I'll get right-wing grief for being a horrible liberal mother who abandons a sick child in favor of the internet but there really isn't much to do while he's sleeping off the virus. You all have kept me company today while there was nothing else I could do but change the wet cool cloth on his forehead. All signs point to a 24 hour bug though. We'll be back to our usual routine of organized chaos and sibling rivalry tomorrow.

My son and his three children live with us. My oldest gandchild is 5, and last week they were all sick with a high fevor. OMG.

When they are well enough to start fighting again is when you can take a deep breath that they are okay.

I actually got banned from a site for my bias towards the Reicht. The reicht wing moderator was like a two yr old . I used to give him fits, he hated me and since I didnt break rules he made up crap to get me booted. The site was the askmen politics MB. It was a great place to pick on wingerwhackos and show them the errors of their arguments. It was great beatin them down daily but they couldnt handle it and had me booted - like spoiled children takin their ball home.

21. I got banned from a ministerial forum for saying Republicans

were acting like crybabies when Delay was first indicted. I too suspect I was edged out because they could not keep up with me while debating about Current Events. They had gotten too used to spouting their talking points at one another that they simply had no clue what to do with someone who linked to factual supporting documentation.

I noticed one of my topics here had a deleted subthread a few days ago. I so wish I could have seen what it was about before it got zapped.

Another friend of mine got a whiff of this and told me this very thread had generated attention at Conservative Underground. Except CU wasn't what came up when I did the google search. It was chatter on some right wing blogs. Apparently I have a fan club and am a DUer they love to hate. Sort of an odd feeling that total strangers would find me compelling enough to follow my posts. Flattering in a way, especially since the right wingers I know tend to focus their energy and ire on people who irritatingly make the most sense. It must be absolutely maddening to them, hence the ridicule. That's all they have left in their arsenal of debate. If I can even call it that. No surprise considering their Republican representatives can't even engage in legitimate political discourse. Look at the models they have.
