I was pleased to see 60 Minutes finally do something on Global Warming last night. This is a big threat and it is only getting worse.

1. Learn about it -- start with this website and see the References 2. Buy renewable energy, like wind and solar 5. Organize the neighborhood and town for energy efficiency 6. Use your vote and influence as a citizen to elect responsive leaders 7. Encourage efficient transportation in & between communities 8. Plant trees, expand open spaces 9. Reduce sprawl and the paving of the landscape 10. Build for efficiency and solar power 11. Support sustainable farming and forestry 12. Reduce global deforestation 13. Develop an efficient energy policy, moving away from fossil fuels 14. Export new energy technology that uses renewable energy sources 15. ....and Start doing these things today

I know scientists all over the world believe in Global warming, but there are still some scientists in the this country what were so generously funded by big American corporate sponsors that disagree. And then our own wonderful government run by two oil men seem to disagree also. I see these signs but I'm not sure. Can we wait a few more years til I'm so sure that I don't have to use my brain at all on the subject. If we could wait about 10 more years, then maybe it will be so obvious that everyone on the planet will absolutely agree that it's true and we won't fight about it. Until then I think we should sit on our hands, ignore the majority of the worlds scientists and listen to the USA's government scientists (some had to be removed because they were all pushy about 'their' ideas).
So for now when I read about Global Warming I'm going to ask myself. Where did that research come from, the pushy foreigners? or our trusty government and it's wonderful idealistic environmentall focused corporate sponsors!
